Foolproof
Although right now biometric techniques have only limited mainstream usage, biometrics has found a home in popular TV series and movies: covert surveillance with hidden devices scanning eyes, biometric databases matching identities within nanoseconds, movie heroes playing cat-and-mouse games with eyeballs in plastic bags to fool sensors, fingerprint systems always matching easily even with dry or wet skin, worn by aging or dirty hands. There is almost no spy movie anymore without stealing a strip of DNA or at least gaining access with a retinal scan. Well, don't you also think that means it is time for another edition of Biometrics in Science Fiction?
